MINING SUPERINTENDENT (CODE : MS/V/19)

Archi Group is an Indonesian based pure gold mining company, with a focus on gold in Indonesia, with the head quarter in Jakarta. Our subsidiaries in Manado - North Sulawesi, PT. Meares Soputan Mining (MSM) and PT. Tambang Tondano Nusajaya (TTN) at Tokatindung Project Site – are currently seeking below professional in order to support our seamless operation :

 

MINING SUPERINTENDENT  (CODE : MS/V/19)

Location : Toka Tindung

The primary role of the Mining Superintendent will be to manage mining activities of the mining contractors, civil earthworks contractors, the blasting management services provider are in accordance with the mine plan manage mining contractor activities and the mine operations group to ensure the ore presentation as outlined in the mine plan is supplied to the process plant in a safe, cost effective and environmentally compliant manner.

Duties:

1. Manage the primary mining contractor, including the development of cost control systems for the management of contractors, including monthly invoicing and contract pricing reconciliation.
2. Development and co-ordination of programs and measurement systems in conjunction with the mining contractor to reduce operating costs and increase mining efficiency.  
3. Manage and trainee of a national mine operations group in mine planning techniques, contractor supervision and compliance to health, safety and environmental management systems
4. Responsible for the Production Reporting System.
5. Outline the mining activities for the contractors at the daily contractor meetings.
6. Conduct the daily production meetings.
7. Responsible for the pit dewatering and surface run-off plans implementation, including environmental compliance.
8. Ensure that the contractor management have current weekly dig plans for each mining location.
9. Manage project work within the mining areas.

Requirements :

• Degree in mine engineering or related field.
• Approximately 10 to 15 years’ experience in the mine supervision or mine engineering.
• Contractor management preferable but not essential.
• Project management and planning experience preferable but not essential.
• Able to obtain a Wakil Kepala Teknik Tambang qualification.
• Able to demonstrate the awareness on corporate safety & environment.
