PT Varita Majutama (“PTVM”) engaged in oil palm plantation activities in Materabu Estate, West Papua Indonesia together with an oil mill for crude palm oil processing

Junior Finance Staff

The position will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

• Checking invoice, prepare payment voucher, prepare bank instruction note etc.
• Liaise with banker on bank related matters
• Check and handle petty cash disbursement
• Handle tax payment and tax filing, i.e. VAT, WHT etc
• Prepare budget monitoring worksheet for budget control purpose
• Require active communication with head office, i.e. Kuala Lumpur
• Frequent communicate with site people for monthly operational report
• Assist in preparing the monthly management reporting
• Prepare journal entries for monthly management report purpose
• Assist to prepare certain statutory reporting for regulatory bodies 
• Liaise with internal auditor and external auditor
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications / Minimum Requirement

• Bachelor degree in accounting
• 3 years experiences, fresh graduates are welcome
• Proficient with MS Office, knowledge in SAP is an added advantage
• Good planning and organizational skills and be able to multi-task
• Independent and self-discipline
• Willing to learn
• Good command of English, both written and oral communication skills
• Dedicated, committed and responsible and prepare to work extra hours during peak period
• Working premise located in Jakarta.
