Eni In Indonesia currently holds participating interests in 14 PSCs of which 10 are as operators. The PSCs are spread from the western part (Krueng Mane, Aceh) to the eastern part (Arguni I, Papua Barat), and also from north border (Ambalat, northern Kalimantan) down to the south border (West Timor, Offshore Timor Sea, Nusa Tenggara Timur). We are looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative and integrity to fill in the following positions:

 

PROCESS ENGINEER

Purpose:

• To provide specialistic process engineering input to the projects activities starting from the screening studies up to the completion of the execution phase, as direct performer and/or as monitoring/follow-up of the activities performed by others (i.e. contractors).
• To provide specialistic support to the technical Authority in projects review to ensure technical integrity, to commissioning and start-up, and to production in trouble shooting activities on facilities already in operation.
• To develop high value well designs, achieving reservoir drainage objectives whilst assuring the application of the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety and environmental protection.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities :

• Technical integrity of process design.
• Overall effectiveness and efficiency of process design.
• Capturing and dissemination of process engineering knowledge.
• Supervising and directing Design Contractors in the selection and design of correct hydrocarbons processes in the project, leading towards optimization in terms of technology, time of implementation and cost. The focus is mainly on mixed fluid gathering, oil processing, gas processing, single and multi phase oil and gas transportation.
• Leading identification, creation and/or adoption of appropriate discipline engineering standards, with appropriate consideration of specific international standards and norms.
• Identifying and assessing new technologies and systems to facilitate improvements in design and operability of the process systems for large-scale field development projects.
• Managing and reviewing output of conceptual design into feasibility studies, functional specifications, and Basis of Design for onshore and offshore utilities related to production and processing facilities.
• Undertaking technical integrity and HSE reviews/audits
• Participating in process safety management, including hazard identification and HAZOP activities.
• Advising on equipment standardization, availability, and sparing philosophies in order to achieve maximum plant operability.
• Verifying and endorsing process simulations.
• Producing and keeping updated, the project Basis of Design/Statement of Requirements, including collation and analysis of relevant.
• For selected development schemes, verifying the production of block diagrams, PFDs, heat, mass balances and process reports.
• Verifying the issuing of equipment lists, data sheets (including sizing of equipment and pipelines for each development scheme) and contributing to cost estimation
• Contributing to feed a database about size, weight, cost and delivery time of major equipment associated with onshore and offshore utility units.
• Leading and directing specialists and engineering contractor studies related to such units.
• Process simulations (HYSYS, UNISIM, PROII) and preparation of heat and material balances.
• Preparation of Block Flow Diagram, PFD and UFD.
• Preparation of P&ID.
• Preparation of data sheet.
• Sizing of equipment and lines.
• Design of blowdown systems.
• Liaison with other disciplines inside and outside facilities engineering (e.g. reservoir, drilling & completion, HSE, instrumentation, technical safety, machinery, etc).
• Support to other Company activities such as definition of internal standards/criteria, training of junior personnel.
• Identifying and assessing new technologies and systems to facilitate improvements in design and operability of the process systems for large-scale field development projects.
• Support to Field Operations department for the troubleshooting and modification of existing facility and provide the best technical recommendation for process and facilities engineering solution

• Project development team, including facilities engineering, project services and commissioning

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Fluent in English
• 5 years of Oil and Gas Industry experience
• At least 10 years of experience and proven track record in hydrocarbon processing studies, process simulation and project development
• Extensive exposure in offshore facilities preferred
• Previous experience as facilities engineer supporting operations activities is an advantage
• Previous experience in leadership role supervising (process) engineering team is an advantage.
