Join with PT Agincourt Resources as Trainer Mobile Equipment

Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR). The mine covers an area of 30 km² that falls under the sixth generation Contract of Work (CoW) covering a total area of 1,639 km2.

The resource base on 31 December 2017 includes 8.8 Moz of gold and 72 Moz of silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is in excess of 5 mtpa ore to produce in excess of 300,000 oz of gold and 2-3 Moz of silver per annum.

PTAR employs more than 2,600 employees and contractors, including approximately 98% Indonesians, of which more than 70% were recruited from local areas.

To strengthen the existing exploration management team and to ensure the achievement of the company’s ambitious 2019 exploration and growth objectives, Martabe Gold Mine is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the role of :

 

 

TRAINER MOBILE EQUIPMENT

(TD 1902019)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in OHS & Training Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Mobile Equipment Supervisor.

This position exists to assist the Mobile Equipment & Permitting Training Supervisor in the development and implementation of knowledge and skill training, to ensure ongoing progression of all PTAR personnel who require permits and licences in order to work safely and effectively within the appropriate manpower regulations and legislation. The incumbent will be the front-line trainer and assessor of numerous permits and licenses.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Bachelor degree majoring in mechanical.
  2. Train of Trainer (TOT). Certificate IV in Training & Assessment will be preferred.
  3. 5 year experience in the mining industry with 3 years as a Vehicle / Lifting Equipment Operator Training Trainer.
  4. Conduct induction and test for LV driver and Lifting Equipment operators.
  5. Develop Mobile Equipment Competency Training Material, particularly Lifting Equipment (PPT, Lesson Plans, Assessment, Hand Out)
  6. Fully involve in evaluating and improving training materials and training methodology
  7. Deliver all related Lifting Equipment Training and assessment (including, but not limited to new & refresher equipment training for operators, Basic Rigging, Lifting & Slinging, etc ).
  8. Thorough knowledge of Equipment Operator Standards.
  9. A sound awareness of competency based training systems.
  10. Competency in personal computer applications (Power point, Word, and Excel).
  11. Current Indonesian lifting equipment licenses (SIO) as well as light vehicle.
