SENIOR SUPERVISOR GOVERNMENT RELATIONS & PERMITTING

Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km² that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (CoW) covering a total area of 1,639 km2.

The resource base on 31 December 2017 includes 8.8 Moz of gold and 72 Moz of silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is in excess of 5 mtpa ore to produce in excess of 300,000 oz of gold and 2-3 Moz of silver per annum.

PT Agincourt Resources engages more than 2,600 employees and contractors, with approximately 98% Indonesians, of which more than 70% were recruited from local people.

To strengthen the existing maintenance management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

 

SENIOR SUPERVISOR GOVERNMENT RELATIONS & PERMITTING (GR 1901009)

This position will be based at Jakarta Office in Government Relations & Permitting Department, and reports directly to Superintendent Government Relations & Permitting.

The role of Senior Supervisor Government Relation & Permitting is to support the whole Department Government Relations and Permitting, especially to ensure that the Company obtains its permitting as required for the course of its operations and fulfil compliance matters and in general to ensure Martabe Operation runs effectively and obediently by laws and regulations. In order to meet the above, this position will be responsible to do review, preparation and coordination with government officials from all related departments to any permitting matters and business process of the company involving government departments. The incumbent should support in following up progress permitting in each levels of Government institution and will be present in any meetings as representative of the Company with Local and/or Central Governments officials as part of permitting process and proactively build good relationship and communication with them.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. University degree of any disciplines.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in mining industries.
  3. Knowledge of permitting procedures in mining operations in line with laws and regulations.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with others.
  5. Good communication and report writing skills both in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
