DRILLING SUPERINTENDENT

Description:

  • Report to Drilling & Completion Manager, this position responsible for the execution phase of a drilling & completion program in safe and efficient manner. Manage all aspects of the rig site execution including HSE, logistics, personnel, and cost performance.

Main responsibilities include:

  • • Coordinate with drilling supervisors on the rig, shorebase, and office based personnel (drilling & completion engineers, HSE, CDCR, Security staff) on day-to-day rig operation.
  • • Plans, direct and provides general supervision to all personnel assigned in drilling operations.
  • • Manage daily drilling operations efficiently to minimize rig down time and optimize rig operating expenditures.
  • • Optimize assets, equipment and resources utilization during well construction activities
  • • Verify drilling equipment, services and consumables item on the rig and maintain them at an appropriate level.
  • • Lead daily rig morning call, review past 24 hrs rig site operation and give guidance on solving drilling problems (wells and down hole challenges).
  • • Developing process improvements and efficiencies
  • • Responsible for safety implementation during drilling activities.
  • • Provide input and feedback on well design and drilling program in overall.

Requirements:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • • More than 10 years’ experience in oil & gas and drilling operations
  • • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • • Excellent communication skills, strong team player, open and transparent communicator across diverse multidiscipline teams.

 

COMPANY MAN DAY & NIGHT

Description:
Main job is ensuring the well is in accordance with the approved drilling program and all operations are completed on time and within budget. This position also expected to oversee the work and scheduling of all third party personnel.

Main responsibilities include:

  • • Manage day to day operations of drilling, completions and workovers in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
  • • Working in a team to ensure the safety of all personnel and compliance with all HSE regulations.
  • • Manage day to day activities of the rig contractor personnel and third party contractors
  • • Make recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered
  • • Ensure rig contractor and equipment are properly maintained to avoid downtime
  • • Ensure rig and personnel comply with Saka safety standard and procedures.

Requirements:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent experience.
  • • More than 10 years for Company Man – Day and minimum 5 years’ experience for Company Man-Night in drilling and workover operations,
  • • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • • Excellent communication skills, strong team player, open and transparent communicator across diverse multidiscipline teams

 

MATERIAL MAN

Description:

  • Main job is to plan, monitor and manage materials required for projects.

Main responsibilities include:

  • • Maintain the availability items/equipment and prepare requisition of materials to ensure that they are kept in good conditions and are available at all time.
  • • Ensure quality type and part identification of material received from Warehouse or other rigs are in accordance with the required specification prior to acceptance,
  • • Receive, inspect and manage inventory to ensure the correct items as ordered and are stored in the allocated areas.
  • • Maintain an on-board inventory of Company Owned equipment and keep the stock part system updated during receiving and delivery and inspect the same to report any irregularities.
  • • Coordinates with On-board Service companies and Material Man on other rigs in orders to transfer material from and to warehouse or inter-fields,
  • • Monitors Loading and Offloading Operation.
  • • Prepare the necessary requisitions for spare parts and materials based on the established minimum stock limits as well as keeping accurate records of parts and materials used, transferred, lost or received.

Requirements:

  • • Diploma’s from a recognized university,
  • • Minimum of 10 years of experience, preferable working on offshore projects,
  • • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to keep track of paperwork.

 

DRILLING HSE COORDINATOR

Description:
Main job is to support company’s HSE management system both management and field staff, promote HSE within the well operations and eliminate or control hazardous resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations which may lead to human injury and/or property damage.

Main responsibilities include:

  • • Liaise and provide advice to company man, drilling manager and contractors’ representative in regards to HSE matters within the well operations.
  • • Analyze work environments and design programs to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, radiological and biological agents or ergonomic factors that involve the impact of equipment design on a worker’s comfort or fatigue.
  • • Develop and coordinate the implementation of HSE audit programs for the rig site operations and plan the actions required to close out the corrective actions in timely manner,
  • • Coordinate all internal and external HSE reporting and all reports as required by legislation and company,
  • • Coordinate day-to-day HSE activities with HSE department,
  • • Support accident prevention programs,
  • • Participate as required in accident/incident investigations and case management of wells related injured/incidents

Requirements:

  • • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Experience.
  • • Approximately 10 years’ experience in relevant industry
  • • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills,
  • • Organized and attentive to details in a fast pass working environment.
  • • Ability to multi-task and operate independently is important

DRILLING HSE SPECIALIST

Description:
Main job is to manage HSE functions in practical and administrative matters, related to on-site drilling and completion operations during exploration phase. This position also provides services in technical, administrative and reporting functions to support GDC client in the development, application and continuous improvement of HSE in the respective area.

Main responsibilities include:

  • • Ensure practical implementation of client’s HSE directives and Client work rules
  • • Provide HSE support and work projects as needed,
  • • Assist rig crew and rig manager in recognizing and minimizing potential hazards and report any areas where assistance is needed for correction deficiencies.
  • • Responsible for observing drill crew in performing critical job, evaluating their performance and correcting deficiencies through the use of best practices, STOP, safety tools, ADA and JSA’s. This include stopping the job and showing the drill crew the correct procedure or recommended practices.
  • • Responsible for continuous assessment of HSE Dashboard data to monitor leading and lagging indicators and verify that the information is complete and reported to all key stakeholders as required.
  • • Assist in all aspects of incident investigation, verifying root cause, and verifying that recommended corrective actions are adequate to address the root cause findings

Requirements:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in HSE field or Equivalent Experience,
  • • Industry and/or regulatory courses and training,
  • • Minimum 5 years’ experience as HSE in relevant industry
  • • Systematic and disciplined approach to problem-solving
  • • Proficient in written and spoken English.

Title: Drilling Tools Third Party Inspector (TPI)

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Provide surveillance and quality oversight to prevent NPT-related failures associated with drilling tools and completions equipment that do not meet required quality standards.
  • • Monitors all inspection, assembly and testing, supervision of repairs, and evaluation of vendors.
  • • Evaluates tools and inspections based upon DS-1® 4th Edition and API requirements as well as other customer, vendor and industry specifications. Monitors performance of machine shops, inspection companies, directional drilling companies and other service providers.
  • • Reviews quality control documents and makes determinations based on fitness for purpose per customer requirements.
  • • Provide daily reports, final reports, equipment release forms that detail the equipment qualified and activities for each day worked in the field. Reports format shall be in either contractor’s standard format or a Customer formatted template. Reports shall contain all critical information such as torque values, pressure testing information;important dimensions and other important information. Reports shall also contain discrepancies and time delays, that will result in delayed equipment delivery and NC (non-conformances) noted during the qualification process.

Qualifications:

  • • Minimum of 5 years oil and gas or QA/QC experience.
  • • Possess enough initiative and dependability to work independently with very little oversight.
  • • Read, interpret and describe technical schematics and drawings. Measure dimensions using calipers, micrometers and scales reading to within 1/64”.
  • • Perform basic math conversations for fractions of inches and decimal measurements.
  • • Read, interpret and enforce job associated inspection, assembly/disassembly, testing and safety procedures.
  • • Ability to efficiently produce technical reports in MS Office Suite Software (Word/Excel), including scanning and uploading supporting documents and photos.
  • • Communicate via email with coworkers, vendors and customers.
  • • Basic keyboarding, electronic file organization and data basing.
  • • Effective and grammatically appropriate communication skills.
  • • Fluent with speaking, reading and writing in English.

 

Title: Mill Surveillance Third Party Inspector (TPI)

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Monitors all inspection, assembly and testing, and evaluation of vendors.
  • • Evaluates manufacturing process and inspections based upon API requirements as well as other customer, vendor and industry specifications. Monitors performance of machine shops, inspection companies, directional drilling companies and other service providers.
  • • Reviews quality control documents and makes determinations based on fitness for purpose per customer requirements.
  • • Provide daily reports, final reports, equipment release forms that detail the equipment qualified and activities for each day worked in the field. Reports format shall be in either contractor’s standard format or a Customer formatted template. Reports shall contain all critical information and process monitored during the manufacturing process and other important information. Reports shall also contain discrepancies and time delays, that will result in delayed equipment delivery and NC (nonconformances) noted during the manufacturing process.
