PT Agincourt Resources Martabe Gold Mine

Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km² that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (CoW) covering a total area of 1,639 km².

The resource base on 31 December 2017 includes 8.8 Moz of gold and 72 Moz of silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 201The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is in excess of 5 mtpa ore to produce in excess of 300,000 oz of gold and 2-3 Moz of silver per annum.

PT Agincourt Resources engages more than 2,600 employees and contractors, with approximately 98% Indonesians, of which more than 70% were recruited from local people.

 

To strengthen the existing maintenance management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

 

SENIOR ENGINEER MECHANICAL RELIABILITY – FIXED PLANT
(PRO 1812089)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Processing – Maintenance Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Coordinator Engineering & Reliability.

The Role of the Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer is to manage the Reliability Engineering function within fixed plant maintenance and provide technical support to the Maintenance execution teams in line with operational needs. They will work as part of a team and seek continuous improvement opportunities and provide professional support to the broader maintenance group.

The role will seek to improve reliability of the crushing, milling and gold extraction circuits in line with business plans. It will also provide support and coaching on reliability principles to the Condition Monitoring technicians and employees across the maintenance and operations teams.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Recognised Engineering Degree Mechanical or Electrical.
  2. Vibration, Oil Analysis and NDT Training Qualification.
  3. Possess broad based, experience in similar engineering roles within the mining, oil & gas or similar heavy industrial environment.
  4. A good understanding of world class mining standards and associated safety standards (ANZS, BS, IEC, ASTM & PAS 55).
  5. A good understanding of ‘Computer Maintenance Management Systems’ (CMMS).
  6. Extensive previous experience with reliability engineering in a mining process plant or heavy industry environment.
  7. Formal Root Cause Analysis training / qualification.
  8. Hands on knowledge of Pronto or similar CMMS software.
  9. Knowledge of maintenance tactics development tools (RCM, FMEA, and PMO etc.).

 

JUNIOR ENGINEER - MINING
(MIN 1812083)

This position will be based at Martabe Site, and reports directly to the Mine Engineer.

The role of the Junior Engineer – Mining is to:

  • Ensure operation of contractor follow PTAR Operational plan and standard of Safety, Health, Environmental, and Community
  • Ensure compliance of Kepmen 555.K/26/M.PE/1995 regarding General Mining Occupational Safety And Health and related Regulations during contractor operational activity
  • Assist superior in short term planning to ensure pit operations can be carried out to deliver ore at the required tonnes and grades to the process plant, as well as waste required for TSF construction
  • Monitor and manage the mining contractor as per mining contract, effective use of plant and equipment, and achievement of targets.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering. Preferably POP certified.
  2. Knowledge and practical experience of related mining software, preferably Surpac.
  3. Well and rounded knowledge of mining operations preferably open pit hard rock mines, familiarity with drilling & blasting and projects works will be an advantage.
  4. Knowledge of production tracking and reporting.
  5. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas.
  6. Competence in speaking, reading and writing English.
  7. Reasonable level of problem solving, hands on approach, able to motivate and lead sub-ordinate.
  8. High level of computer literacy skills in Ms. Word, Excel, Power Point.
  9. High commitment to PTAR standards in environment, safety, business ethic and good corporate governance.
  10. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

 

ENVIRONMENT MANAGER
(ENV 1812082)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Environment Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Head of Risk Management.

The Role of Environment Manager is to develop leading practice environmental management systems and practices across all facets of the company’s operations. In addition the Environment Manager will provide advice to senior management on environmental risk exposure which could damage the company’s reputation, as well defining strategies and identifying opportunities to enhance the company’s sound environmental management credentials

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Post graduate degree in Environmental Management
  2. 10 years’ experience in the mining industry in the field of environmental management
  3. Experience of team management and development
  4. Experience of mine site rehabilitation in the tropics
  5. Experience in water management in a high rainfall environment
  6. Experience of ARD (Acid Rock Drainage) management
  7. Experience of managing environmental monitoring programs and associated regulatory reporting requirements
  8. Detailed knowledge of environmental management issues related to mineral resource development
  9. Knowledge of environmental auditing, ISO 14001, requirements and sustainability reporting
  10. Detailed knowledge of environmental laws and regulations of importance to mining in Indonesia

SUPERVISOR – MECHANICAL REBUILD

This position will be based at Martabe Site, and reports directly to the Coordinator Mechanical Maintenance.

The role of Supervisor Mechanical Rebuild specialist will have the ability and knowledge to set up the rebuild workshop area, systems, policy & procedures for the management of rebuild components, QA/QC to eliminate rework for all maintenance components including rotable items for the mechanical department and weekly / monthly reporting to the Mechanical Superintendent.

To provide specialist support for the Rebuild Specialist Trades people so as to ensure that all rebuild maintenance components, modifications, servicing and installation activities are carried out as per maintenance schedule in a safe, diligent, timely, cost efficient and cost effective manner, whilst taking into consideration the priority requirements of the Process Plants and associated infrastructure’s equipment & apparatus being attended to.

This role is for a specialist who has rebuild experience in process plant mechanical items such as gearboxes, pumps, valves, fabrication and welding components, machining skills to eliminate rework in the mechanical department.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Graduated from Polytechnic, desirable Diploma Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Mechanical Fitting or Boiler Maker Welder Trades Qualification by a recognized institution or approved Apprenticeship with Mechanical Fitting or Boiler Maker Welding qualifications.
  3. Experience in similar position within the mining, oil & gas or similar heavy industrial environment.
  4. Must have specialized in rebuild maintenance workshops along with timely scheduled maintenance component change out programs.
  5. Thorough knowledge of the methods, techniques, equipment, tools and materials used in the mining / mechanical trades industry.
  6. Must be able to read P&ID’s & drawings, write procedures, work instructions along with following these step by step.
  7. Experience developing and rolling out SOP’s.
  8. Experience with Mechanical Fitting, Boiler making Welding maintenance, problem-solving and inspection processes.
  9. Experience with below processing plant equipment rebuilds / repair: Gearbox, Pumps, Valves, Vibrating Screen, Conveyor components, Jaw/Pebble crushers components.

Campaign & Event Management Superintendent

This position will be based at Martabe Site, and reports directly to the Senior Corporate Communications Manager.

This position is responsible in the positive presentation and positioning of Agincourt Resources Martabe Gold Mine to our local, national and international communities -- often involving media, senior academic, business, community and government bodies. Carefully planned and well executed campaigns and events are important to help promote, showcase and build on Martabe Gold Mine’s corporate and community profile and positive reputation.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Graduate Degree in PR, Communications and other related subjects.
  2. A senior staff with 10-15 years-experience in campaign and event planning & management, managing conferences, events and/or roadshows, programs including those related to csr, and stakeholder visits including the governments with high familiarity with its variations of protocol and etiquette.
  3. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent eye for and exceptional attention to detail and impeccable execution without missing any deadlines.
  4. Experience with negotiating and building partnerships with vendors, sponsors, organisers and exhibitors from various backgrounds.

The Role of Manager – Finance is to supervise :

The Role of the Electrical & Instrumentation Trades personnel is to provide ‘hands-on’ support for the Electrical / Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisors, so as to ensure that the maintenance, modifications, servicing and installation activities carried out by the E&I maintenance team are performed in a professional, safe, diligent, timely, cost efficient and cost effective manner, whilst taking into consideration the priority requirements of the Process Plants and associated infrastructure’s electrical & instrumentation plant, equipment & apparatus being attended to.

 

Close interaction with your peers in the Electrical / Instrumentation, Mechanical, Process and Metallurgical teams as well as Maintenance Planning and Warehouse personnel will be crucial to the overall success of your role.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Graduated from Polytechnic / Technical training institute or approved Apprenticeship with Electrical qualifications
  2. Experience in similar position within the mining, oil & gas or similar heavy industrial environment.
  3. Experience with electrical & instrumentation maintenance, problem-solving and inspection processes.
