We are seeking experienced people for the following positions:

 

TECHNICAL TRAINING DEVELOPER – 926183
(Balikpapan Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• To create efficient and accurate technical training and assessment material in line with business requirements
• Participate in the performance management process using the PE@T process including the creation of information performance notes in the Trakstar system
• Analyse and interpret national training standards from across Thiess’ operational jurisdictions
• Assemble information on training and assessment practices across Thiess operations and ensure best practice is captured within training and assessment documents
• Assist projects in understanding the application of Thiess Certified Training and assessment materials.
• Develop classroom training and assessment materials in conjunction with Maintenance Training Specialists.
• Provide advice on instructional/learning and curriculum improvements
• Review training and assessment materials and make recommendations for improvements
• Develop new ideas to support the efficient use of training and assessment process and content
• Provide input for company-wide training development

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum graduated from Certificate IV qualification in Training and Assessment or equivalent with minimum of 3 years’ experience within the mining and/or construction industry as technical or trainer background in Mining, Plant, Safety or other technical skills.
• Experience in training and delivery and assessment processes; experience in designing, reviewing and development of training and assessment resources; ability to research internal and external safety and training information;
• Advanced computer literacy required, including intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, English literacy;
• Strong verbal, interpersonal and written English communication skills; facilitation skills; presentation skills; have self-confident, familiar with working under pressure

 

TECHNICAL TRAINING COORDINATOR – TRAINING QUALITY CONTROL – 926185
(Balikpapan Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• To co-ordinate the development and quality control of approved technical training and assessment material to Thiess Certified Standards.
• Participate in the performance management process using the PE@T process including the creation of information performance notes in the Trakstar system
• Analyse and interpret national training standards from across Thiess’ operational jurisdictions
• Assemble information on training and assessment practices across Thiess operations and ensure best practice is captured within training and assessment documents
• Assist projects in understanding the application of Thiess Certified Training and assessment materials.
• Monitor the development of training and assessment materials in conjunction with Maintenance Training Specialists.
• Provide advice on instructional/learning and curriculum improvements
• Review training and assessment materials and make recommendations for improvements
• Develop new ideas to support the efficient use of training and assessment process and content
• Provide input for company-wide training development

What skills and experience do you need?

• Graduated in Technical related field and minimum 3 year-experience in the mining and/or construction industry with an understanding of Technical Training needs. Experience or understanding of data management systems
• Advanced computer literacy required, including proficiency with MS Office Suite, Sharepoint etc.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems
• Experience or understanding of training delivery and training program development
• Experience or understanding of training course design and development, including course materials development
• Effective time management skills and ability to work autonomously
• Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. High level of English written and communication skills is a must
• The ability to manage conflict resolution and to demonstrate resilience
• Knowledge of current legislation that applies within the mining and training industry
• Flexibility to cope with change
• Understanding of national mining training packages

 

ROTATING SITE SENIOR DOCTOR – 925412
(Balikpapan Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Provide administer and execute the implementation of TCI employee health & medical program on site;
• Liaise with external medical providers to ensure employees and their family are treated appropriately;
• Act as Corporate Health Services representative on site;
• Implement TCI Safety Management System, processes and programs to ensure the conservation of people, property, environment and profits.

What skills and experience do you need?

• You should have background Medical Doctor with minimum 5 years’ experience in medical field preferably in similar role as a mining company doctor; Valid STR; Having Hiperkes certificate, valid ATLS & ACLS certificates; Become advantage if have MKK or MKKK qualification and Industrial hygienist certified;
• Strong knowledge & skill in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene and Food Safety; Excellent in Medical Emergency Management (remote site); Up to date medical knowledge; Good understanding on Indonesia Medical System; Familiar in Information monitoring and database; Having good knowledge in health insurance;
• Willing to be placed in Balikpapan and frequently travelling to site;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; team player; good in coaching/mentoring; good analytical; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills; excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate;
• Employment Contract based.
