Position 1 – Sales Engineer - ID66512562

Job Description:
We are now seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team in Jakarta who will be responsible for the customer within the unit and facilitates the sales process from identified potentials to implemented sale or contract in order to meet one’s sales targets within the intended customer group and geographic region.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

  • Reach out established sales targets in the projections through actively working with customers
  • Responsible to ensure market information is updated and documented such as assessment of business potential, monitoring of competitors, offerings to customers and price levels
  • Acts as a salesperson of ABB’s products in Trade fairs, Exhibitions, Conferences and in Customer meetings and Translates the needs of the customer in the relevant offerings based on ABB’s product and service portfolio
  • Understand the fundamental needs of the customer and identify new business possibilities and maximize the potential with existing customers
  • Negotiate with the customer and transfer the business to the agreed upon margins by ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction (NPS)
  • Charts out and monitor sales proposals and tenders (quantity, margin, product/system) and follow up statistics concerning sales proposals
  • Organize and coordinate post-sales marketing activities in collaboration with ABB Service agreement

Requirement:
Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from reputed university with minimum 2.8 GPA
  • 3+ years’ experience in sales
  • Good knowledge on project finance and cost initiatives
  • Expertise in handling customer relations
  • Candidates applying for this role should have good command over English and demonstrated Negotiation and Presentation skills
