Position 1 – Sales Specialist - ID65904060

Job Description:

We are now seeking a Sales Specialist to join our team in Jakarta who will be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. You will also build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues.

Reporting to the Sales Manager– Infrastructure Sales, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Sell products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups
  • Prepare sales plans using company tools and perform regular status reviews and propose recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
  • Create added value for the customer and ABB and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques
  • Ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers
  • Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes, and support collection and project management activities when needed
  • Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager

Requirement:

Key requirements include:

  • Minimum BA/BS Engineering in Electrical
  • 5-8 years in Sales and Marketing especially within infrastructure sales
  • Highly motivated person, Technical Sales Skill, Proficient with MS Word, Excel
  • Have experience within the infrastructure end user and transport sector and developing sales through the direct sales channel
