PT Tanjung Power Indonesia (TPI) is a joint venture company between PT Adaro Power which owns 65% of TPI and PT East West Power Indonesia, a subsidiary directly owned by Korea East-West Power Co Ltd, which owns 35% of TPI. PT Tanjung Power Indonesia is constructing and will do the operation and maintenance of 2 x 100 MW high technology coal-fired Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Tabalong, South Kalimantan.

Assistant Operation Shift Leader

Available Position : 3

Work Location : Tanjung, Kalimantan Selatan

Job Responsibilities :

Responsible to assist to overseeing and coordinating the operation of the equipment and maintaining the safety and the efficiency of the power plant and auxiliary plant at control room and field and Monitoring Coal Handling System, Ash Handling System, WT & WWT System.

• To apply the safety rules and procedures in Company in accordance with the quality management in the Company to support the safety and smooth operation of Power Plant.
• To control assist the operational shift of Power Plant in all circumstances to maintain the availability of Power Plant.
• To monitor, assist and guide all required activities for equipment
• To investigate and to provide the solution arising to the Plant (trouble, abnormal operational condition, danger sign) and provide the solution to be followed up to support the continuity and availability of Power Plant
• To assist preparation of Faults Report from force stage and to prepare and also to review the quality and accuracy of the required information to be reported to Maintenance Department for further corrective action.
• To assist publicity of Permit-to-Work and isolation accurately and timely-manner for the continuity and Power Plant maintenance.
• To ensure the accuracy and completeness of Plant Quality Records which has been completed to ensure all Power Plant activity is documented.
• To ensure and assist the achievement of relevant procedures and Work Instructions at Quality Management System during conduct the daily works following Management Standard.
• To assist making daily report, work order, and record the usage of the material in conducting the work to support the continuity of operational and maintenance of Power Plant.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) graduate majoring in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in related position from Power Plant or Manufacturing
• Broad experience and proven skills in coal fired power plant operation will be advantage.
• Good communication skill and leadership
• Good command in English both verbal and written
• Willing to be located at Tanjung - Tabalong, South Kalimantan

 

Unit Controller

Available Position : 3
Work Location : Tanjung, Kalimantan Selatan

Job Responsibilities :
Responsible to control, monitoring and operate the power plant operational (Boiler, Turbine, BOP, and auxiliary plant) in order to reach the target and run smoothly and safe.

• To control and monitor the DCS operator in power plant operational (boiler, turbine, BOP, and auxiliary power plant) by DCS control based on approved procedure to reach the production target following health and safety principles.
• To provide the directions of monitoring and technical actions to operational machine to DCS Operator Unit 1 and 2 and Field Operator based on DCS observation result to monitor panel as well as analyze the abnormality to get the decision which will be doing and also to coordinate with Shift Supervisor to have follow up action in timely manner.
• To monitor and coordinate all the activities which required for Start-Up and Shut Down of the Power Plant equipment to support the continuity of Power Plant operations.
• To identify the dangerous potential during operational Power Plant process and conduct the action based on settled up procedures as well as to report abnormality in the report to be evaluated and followed up accurately and timely manner.
• To respond and control the emergency situation, emergency response such as fire and oil leaks to ensure the worker's safety, plant and environment.
• To report the condition, disturbance findings, and latest update about power plant operations to DCS Officer In Charge in shift in Operator Daily Report in shift / daily log sheets which has been defined for continuity Power Plant operations.
• To coordinate with Maintenance Department to follow up maintenance requirements findings to support the continuity of Power Plant operations.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in related position from Power Plant or Manufacturing

Performance Engineer

Available Position : 1
Work Location : Tanjung, Kalimantan Selatan

Job Responsibilities :
Responsible to Power plant performance related work, operation efficiency analyze work, Emergency reporting and recovery system, Development start/stop management work, Fuel/ limestone/ sand management, shift operator management tasks (include coal/ash/heavy equipment/Mobile operator), coordination with power trading staff.

• To apply the safety rules and procedures in Company in accordance with the quality management in the Company to support the safety and smooth operation of Power Plant.
• To monitor and guide all required activities for Performance management task work
• To manage Electricity trading and power supply related work and plant start/stop management work for Power Plant operation.
• To make report, work order, and record the usage of the material(fuel, limestone, sand) in conducting the work to support the continuity of operational and maintenance of Power Plant.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum Diploma Degree (D3) graduate majoring in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in related position from Power Plant or Manufacturing
• Good knowledge of power trading agreement
• Good communication skill
• Good command in English both verbal and written
• Willing to be located at Tanjung - Tabalong, South Kalimantan

 

Reliability Engineer

Work Location : Tanjung, Kalimantan Selatan

Job Responsibilities :
Responsible to conduct the data collecting and analyze the power plant equipment to ensure the power plant equipment can be operates safely and reliable.

• To collect, optimize and finalize Overhaul plan
• To find out optimum repair method and schedule for Special repair work such as leakage of BLR tubes
• To create of contract, writing a procurement list and outsourcing maintenance list in order to be successful Overhaul.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum Diploma Degree (D3) graduate majoring in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 (three) years of experience as Reliability Engineer position in power plant industry
• Broad experience and proven skills in coal fired power plant operation & maintenance will be advantage.
• Good command in English both verbal and written
• Willing to be based in Tanjung - Tabalong, South Kalimantan

 

Mechanical Maintenance Technician
