PT. Bhimasena Power Indonesia is a newly established foreign investment company that will supply electricity 2 X 1000 MW to the grid system located in Batang, Central Java, Indonesia. As one of independent power producer in Indonesia, we dedicated Ultra Super Critical (USC) Technology to support electricity supply in Indonesia through strongly consider the environmental aspect.

We are now seeking for highly qualified and dynamics personal to join our Operation & Maintenance (O&M) organization with the following position:

UNIT CONTROLLER ( UC )

Job Descriptions :

• Prepare documented procedures for operation standpoint refer to the relevant standards
•  Coordinate and monitor the running of plant/system/equipment for whole plant through the DCS in safely, efficient, economical and environmental friendly during start-up, shutdown and normal operation
• Monitor and coordinate the activities of Local Operator and ensuring all system and its protection function working properly and safely
• Undertake troubleshoots and minor repairs on the electrical and mechanical equipment to get everything back on track to minimize safety risks and economic losses when abnormalities are detected
• Be responsible for tracking and recording the status of the operational system using DCS screen
• Identify and giving a recommendation to improve overall plant reliability, performance and output.
• Monitor the operations condition regarding the emissions control equipment and adjust it to meet regulation threshold limit
• Provide accountable operation report during running the plant and ensure every problem is continuously monitored
• Carefully undertake the equipment routine test periodically to ensure equipment reliability
• Be responsible for tracking and entering any defect equipment into CMMS (Computerize Maintenance Management System)
• Ensure that PTW (Permit To Work) is applied before maintenance works
• Recording all operational events and data in a chronological order in the Operation Unit Log.
•  Ensuring that Local Operators perform their routine plant checks in a satisfactory manner, that plant testing, plant isolations and de-isolations are carried out
• During commissioning stage, UC should assist the Operation Shift Leader during developing the training and documented procedures

Requirements :

• Minimum Diploma-3 Degree (D3) (Bachelor Degree(S1) is preferable) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other Engineering
• As a guide eight (8) years experience in power plant sector of PLN’s grid system, three (3) years have been as a Unit Controller or Assistant Unit Controller position of Supercritical Boiler Power Plant or large coal fired power plant
• Having a valid Power Plant Operation Competence Certificate and Boiler License Class-1
• Having knowledge in fire protection and fire fighting
• Having a knowledge in electrical (HV, MV, LV)
• Having knowledge in mechanical (bearing system, hydraulic system, rotating equipment etc)
• Having basic knowledge in C & I including PLC controller
• Knowledge on applied ASME PTC-4 and PTC-6 will be preferable
• Indonesia & English language abilities (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing)
• Microsoft Office, CMMS (i.e. Maximo, Engica)
• Good knowledge in mathematics, thermodynamics, chemistry, fluid flow, coal combustion, heat transfer etc
