Under Indonesia’s independent power programme, PT. YTL Jawa Timur operates and maintains this 2x610 MW Coal-fired Power Station. The station is located at Paiton, Probolinggo District of East Java, 141 km Southeast of Surabaya.

We currently have a vacancies for:

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN – Materials Handling

Working in the Material Handling Section (EMH), you will be responsible to Mechanical Supervisor for the mechanical maintenance of power plant equipment.

Candidate for this should possess minimum qualifications and competencies as follows:

1. Maximum 40 years old
2. Minimum Diploma 3 years (D3) in Mechanical from a reputable university or Polytechnic;
3. Minimum 7 years experiences as Mechanical Technician, preferable in coal handling system;
4. Experiences of maintenance & overhaul gearbox, pulley, pump & hydraulic components;
5. Knowledge of conveyor, stacker reclaimer, ship unloader, hydraulic and other system;
6. Familiar with maintenance process and methods;
7. Working knowledge of tools, common appliance & devices
8. Person qualities :
   • Good physical condition & strength with willingness to hard work
   • Self motivated
   • Be able to speak, write and read English is preferred but not essential
   • Computer literate
   • Have good safety practices
   • Don’t have allergy to dust

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN – Electrical - C&I

You will be responsible to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Low Voltage Electrical Equipment and Drivers, Field Control & Instrumentation equipment as well as equipment control / automation (PLC & DCS) of Auxiliary Plants (Coal, Ash, WTP, WWTP and Chlorination Plants).

Candidate for this position should possess:

1. Maximum 35 years old;
2. Minimum Diploma 3 years (D3) in Electrical, Physics Engineering / Instrumentation or Electronic from a reputable University or Polytechnic;
3. Having 3 years minimum in relevant experiences at heavy industries or power plants;
4. Good skill and knowledge in Low Voltage Electrical Equipment and Variable Speed Drivers, having basic skill in Instrumentation, Control and Automation System (PLC & DCS) troubleshooting;
5. Capable and willingness to work under pressure, extended working hours and Call In scheme;
6. Accurate, reliable, enthusiasm and having good written and spoken English.
